About Mac
Alex Mac was born a lovely 0 years old after a long and painful labor in which his mother wished nothing but pain and torment upon all those who would love this horrible creature slowly clawing his way out from her womb. The year was 1989 and the Cold War was just ending thanks to the effort of Nintendo. Growing up in southern New Hampshire, the best he could do was to develop a sense of humor. Starting his stand up career* at the age of 17, he has had the wonderful opportunity to work with some of the New England's veterans and some of its fastest rising stars.
A journey with Mac on the stand up stage is like Sierra Mist. Literally. Mac's mind is like an idea blender. Not that the ideas blend together. Mac is prone to non linear thoughts and flights of fancy. Drawing from his love of pop culture and the absurd, he ponders the important questions for you. "Why were the Power Rangers so racist?", "If ladies love a man in uniform, why were his private school days so chaste?", "Did gladiators use trial and error to find the best animals to battle?" These and many more questions are contemplated with reckless abandon in a style that varies between manic and dry as a bone.
